Victor Carrasco, born in Valencia (1974) Victor Carrasco started his professional career after graduating in Industrial Design Engineering at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, when he founded Viccarbe. Viccarbe is a leading firm in manufacturing contemporary style furniture for domestic environments as well as installations, present in more than 50 countries. Far from trends and rushes, he develops and positions international brands with a surprising added value, which gives great importance to synthesis, sustainable growth and pragmatic forecasts for the future. Since 2007 combines his work as strategies director at Viccarbe with his task as Design Director for the prestigious American multinational Coalesse (Steelcase Inc.). He also cooperates, working as industrial designer, for international firms such as Boffi, Glas Italia, Gandia Blasco, LZF or Hodema, to mention just a few. In 2008 he was awarded the Príncipe Felipe Prize to Entrepreneurial Excellence.
