Mariví Calvo (Valencia, 1960) holds a degree in Art History and Fine Arts. She continued her post-graduate studies at the Pratt Institute, New York, specializing in the collagraph technique and in holography at the New York Museum of Holography. Her work has been exhibited in the U.S. and Europe. In 1995, she co-founded Luzifer Lamps along with Sandro Tothill, a family-owned business focused on creating unique wood veneer lampshade diffusers. Since 1995, she has been responsible for the management and corporate image of Luzifer Lamps. Mariví has designed several lamp collections for Luzifer Lamps, such as the Gea, Cosmos, Románicas and Moebius collections. Likewise, she is responsible for the selection and coordination of projects developed by designers collaborating with lzf (Luzifer Lamps), as well as for the design, supervision and installation of exhibition stands, presentations and events for the company.
